Sharna Holman, Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) and CottonInfo, Development Extension Officer, Central Queensland
Based in Emerald, Sharna works with the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) and CottonInfo as a development extension officer for the Central Queensland cotton growing regions.
Sharna is relatively new to the region and has only been involved in the cotton industry for a short time, however has quickly become passionate about the industry due to the enthusiasm of everyone involved from growers to the ginners.
As a development extension officer, Sharna brings the latest news, information, events and research to Central Queensland growers, consultants and industry members. Sharna supports and provides assistance to various on-farm trials which are of industry and regional interest, as well as a link for other researchers and projects to extend services to the region.
